Gboard for Android Update Brings New Languages and Options

The Gboard is arguably the best keyboard app available for Android, thanks to the great performance of the keyboard and the great integration of Google Services. Well, the keyboard has just gotten better. Google has updated Gboard with new languages, editing tools and customization options.

Gboard now supports22 new Indic languages, including Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Marathi, Tamil, Urdu, Gujarati etc. Along with the support for new languages, the update also adds support for Kinyarwanda and Waray. Gboard also features transliteration capabilities for all the new languages. This means when you type “aapko holi ki hardik shubhkamnay”, it gets typed as “आपको होली की हार्दिक शुभकामनायें”.

Along with the new languages, Gboard also brings better editing capabilities. In the “G” menu of the keyboard, you will find the new Text Editing icon, where you will getcursor control, options to select text, cut, copy or paste text. The new update also lets youadjust the size and positionof the keyboard, which can come in handy if you think the keyboard is too small or too large for your liking.

These features are available with the latest Gboard version 6.2.34, so head to thePlay Storeand update the app now. Also, do let us know how you like the new features in the comments section below.
