Genshin Impact 4.4 Promotional Leak Reveals Ganyu, Shenhe Skins & Cloud Retainer

The Genshin community can’t seem to catch a break recently.Genshin Impact 4.3 updateis all set to hit this week, bringing new content and characters like Navia; however, we are already getting leaks of version 4.4 and a glimpse at what it could offer players. Most vitalGenshin Impact 4.4 info was leakedduring 4.2, but the recent leaks give us in-depth information about what to expect.

Genshin Impact 4.4 New Characters and Outfits

Cloud Retainer’s or ratherXianyun’sand Gaming’s (formerly known as Lion Dance Boy) drip marketing was released today. The former is quite accurate to the leaked material and previous Lantern Rite cutscenes while the latter is a new character.

Let’s get the most anticipated information out of the way first; from the leaks so far, Genshin Impact 4.4 will bring a new character codenamed “Lion Dance Boy” alongside Cloud Retainer in her human form, resembling the one we saw in the trailer and cutscene of the version 3.4 Lantern Rite, “Echoes of the Heart.”

The leak comes courtesy of aReddit userwho posted an image of what looks like offline promotional material in China featuring the “Lion Dance boy,”Shenhe, and Ganyuin their new outfits, and Cloud Retainer. There’s another leak that states that Xingqiu may get a new outfit as well.

Another leak from a Telegram user Genshin Meow suggests that all outfits are four-star and Xingqiu’s will be free and can be obtained from an event. The user also claims Cloud Retainer will be a Catalyst user with a Catalyst that looks like a fan.

Now, of course, all leaks should be taken with a grain of salt because they may turn out to be false.

First Breadcrumbs About “Chenyu Vale”

Genshin Meow’s leak also suggests that there are two Statue of the Seven in Chenyu Vale, the upcoming region that’s rumored to connectFontaine, Liyue, and Sumeru. The region is supposedly located at the upper left of Qingce Village.4.4 will fill in the gap between stormterror’s lair and qingce villagebyu/ukrisrenginGenshin_Impact_Leaks

The user also claims there’s a “map in the middle of Stormerror’s Lair and Qingce Village,” perhaps another region for the future that finally focuses on connecting Mondstadt to other regions. Varka return, anyone?

Genshin Impact 4.4 Character Banners Probability

All this makes us wonder about the character banners and we think we have an answer. The first half of Genshin Impact 4.4 might feature Ganyu and Shenhe, while the other half might feature Xiao and Cloud Retainer. The probability of it happening is high because it’s Lantern Rite and it only makes sense for Xiao to be there.
