You can collect cobblestone bybreaking stone blockswith a wooden pickaxe or better. When the stone block is mined, it drops itself as cobblestone blocks. Stone blocks are one of the most common blocks in the overworld of Minecraft.

How to Craft a Furnace in Minecraft

Once you have collected the required blocks, making the furnace in Minecraft is effortless. You just need toplace all the cobblestone blocks in a square patternin the crafting area, leaving the center cell empty.

When a furnace is active, it displays a burning fire in its bottom slot. This fire has a light level of 13, which is brighter than soul fire but less bright than a torch or actual fire. This means you can choose to use the furnace as a Minecraftlight sourceat times.

You can use a furnace to craft ablast furnace, smoker, and a minecart with a furnace. Blast furnace smelts only ores, raw metals and metal armor, and tools and does thateven twice as fast as the regular furnace.

Smokeris similar to the blast furnace, but it can only cook food items. Also, it requires just half the time of the regular furnace to finish cooking.

To craft it, place a furnace in the center slot of the 3 x 3 crafting grid and surround it withfour full wooden blocks, such as logs, wood, stems, hyphae, and stripped variants.

Furnace minecartis a variant of minecart that starts moving once you right-click it with fuel such as coal. Place a furnace and a minecart in any configuration in the crafting grid to make the furnace minecart. However, this is the case only in the Java edition.
