WhatsApp has beentesting some new text formatting optionsfor a while now, and we saw the first glimpse of it in a beta update in January. These new options are now out of the development phase and rolling out to users starting today across all platforms, including Android, iOS, Windows, Web, and Mac. So, in this guide, we will take you through each text formatting option in WhatsApp and how to use it.
How to Use New Text Formatting Options in WhatsApp
The new text formatting options in WhatsApp include bulleted lists, numbered lists, block quotes, and inline code. These are in addition to pre-existing options, which are Italic, Strikethrough, Bold, and Monoscope. We have briefly explained the use case and how to use each of the formats in your messages below.
